Frequently Asked Questions

Q. "When should the doves be released?
A. This is completely up to you. There  can be a lot of creativity in the timing and location of your release. Normally they are released immediately after the couple and guest emerge from the church, or in the case of an outdoor ceremony - after the bride and groom sign their documents. Also the doves cannot fly at night, your release must be timed to happen before dusk.

Q. What if it rains on the day of our event?

A. With our lovely Los Angeles weather, we very rarely have any problems. The doves can still be released as they are quite used to the rain, and are often trained in it for this purpose. If the rain is very heavy, we may wait until it lightens up. However, in extreme adverse weather conditions. we reserve the right to substitute another service, as we will not jeopardize the health and well being of our beloved doves.
